Prior to the IDC, we offer a 3 day course designed to help candidates refresh their dive theory and sharpen their pool and rescue skill demonstrations. THE INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE. During The 10 Day Instructor Development Course, you'll learn the PADI System of diver education, standards and procedures, effective academic teaching presentations, teaching in confined water, conducting open water training dives and additional related topics PREPARATION FOR THE IOC. Prior to the IOC, we offer a 3 day Prep course designed to help candidates refresh their dive theory and sharpen their pool and rescue skill demonstrations. INSTRUCTOR EXAMINATION. Samui International Diving School has been providing first class PADI Instructor Training for over Eight years. The reputation of our program is one of the best in Thailand. We have trained more than 700 PADI Instructors, with over 98% passing their first Instructor Examination. To become a PADI MEDIC FIRST AID® (MFA) Instructor, you you'l need to be a PADI Instructor or Assistant Instructor who has satisfactorily completed an MFA Instructor Training program. As a MFA Instructor, you may conduct MFA programs for divers and nondivers who want CPR and first aid training including basic emergency medical care knowledge and skills. Once You become a new PADI Instructor you will want to Continue your education to expand your career options. Career Opportunities in the Recreational Dive Industry are increasing rapidly, however so is the competition, especially for the most attractive jobs! If any candidate participating in our IDC Prep Course is not then successful in the Instructor Examination, we will pay for them to attend the next IE in Thailand and invite them to join the next IDC completely free of charge
The IDC Staff Instructor Course is a 12 Day Course and a step towards the prestigious Master Instructor rating and the prerequisite to becoming a PADI Course Director. A Career Development Centre (CDC)is the Highest PADI Dive Training Centre rating. There are currently only Two in Thailand and a few World Wide that have been awarded this prestigious rating. In today's competitive Dive Industry, a PADI Instructor needs many qualifications in addition to the basic Instructional skills acquired in a traditional IDC. Enriched Air EANx or as it is so often called NITROX, is simply normal air enriched with additional Oxygen. Using a mixture of enriched air replaces some of the nitrogen that you breathe underwater with oxygen, so that during your dive you absorb less nitrogen than you would breathing normal air. This is a 2 Day Course designed by Divers Alert Network (DAN) and will cover comprehensive training in the use of oxygen equipment at the scene of a dive accident.
