INTRODUCTION
The Official Career Development Course (CDC) LogoSamui International Diving School was the first PADI Five Star IDC Center to be awarded the prestigious Career Development Center rating. There are currently only two in Thailand and just a few world wide. In today's competitive Dive Industry, a PADI Instructor needs many qualifications in addition to the basic Instructional skills acquired in a traditional IDC. Our Instructor Development Courses offer comprehensive training to maximize your opportunities and to give you the cutting edge to succeed in today's Dive Industry.

We have been providing first class PADI Instructor Training for over Eight years. The reputation of our program is one of the best in Thailand. We have trained more than 700 PADI Instructors, with over 98% passing their first Instructor Examination. We also operate a job placement program that has helped place many of these instructors in positions, not only here in Thailand but in other exotic locations throughout South East Asia. Many of our instructors have gone on to successfully manage their own Dive Centers.

SIDS has been the proud recipient of many awards from PADI over the years. In 1994 we received the PADI award "Excellence in Dive Resort Operation" and in 1999 "Outstanding Contribution To PADI " Award. Since then we have received many more awards both collectively and for individuals. The PADI "Certificate of Recognition for Excellence" Award is sent by PADI after receiving complimentary comments from our past students and candidates.

THE FACILITIES
Our facilities include fully equipped air-conditioned classrooms, onsite swimming pool, beachside restaurant, fax, phone and email services. Safe deposit boxes are also available. On your arrival on Samui, we provide complimentary transfer from the airport to your resort and will be happy to provide information on the local area.

LEE BRIGHT CD 56905
Lee has been diving over 16 years and has certified over 1000 students. Drawing on his background in the British Royal Navy, Lee manages SIDS' resort-based operations in Koh Samui. Apart from his considerable recreational diver training experience, Lee is a qualified Enriched Air Instructor Trainer, Semi Closed Circuit Rebreather Instructor Trainer, TDI Gas Blender and DAN Oxygen Instructor Trainer. Lee is an experienced educator and has staffed over 30 IDC programs and received several PADI Awards for Excellent Instruction. Lee's style of teaching is popular with all candidates and we guarantee you will find his lectures not only easy to follow, but also a lot of fun.

CESARE BENELLI CD 34527
Cesare is the Managing Director of Samui International Group of Companies. Cesare is recognized as one of the pioneers of leisure diving in Thailand and was the first to set up a Dive Centre in Koh Samui, way back in 1984. In addition to his vast experience in all aspects of diving and diver training, Cesare is multi-lingual and can provide training in English, Italian, French, Spanish and Thai.

Camille has been diving over 10 years and has certified over 500 students. Apart from his considerable recreational diver training experience, Camille is a qualified Enriched Air Instructor Trainer, Semi Closed Circuit Rebreather Instructor Trainer and DAN Oxygen Instructor Trainer.
